Howard Rosenblum announces new position

Howard Rosenblum announced on his LinkedIn profile on April 17 that he is “happy to share that I’m starting a new position as CEO at Deaf Equality.”

The organization is based in Chicago, Illinois.

The LinkedIn profile shows that Howard’s time as the NAD CEO ended in April 2024. Look at this.

It says April 2011-April 2024. 13 years and 1 month. So he’s finished with that and is now up there.

Exciting News! The 988 Lifeline launched new American Sign Language services for callers who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. It’s a new resource for people to access help when they need it. Visit 988lifeline.org and select “ASL Now.”

Deaf Equality appears to be a new organization. According to an Illinois state filing, Deaf Equality was incorporated on April 16 and is a nonprofit. Howard is named as an agent.

I’ve reached out to Howard and to the NAD for comment. The NAD said they would be sharing communications in the next few days.
