Meagan Rose Davis in jail on drug charge

Meagan “Megg” Rose Davis, the deaf woman who was reported missing last week by her family and power of attorney representative, is currently in custody at the Houston County Jail in Crockett, Texas.

Several deaf people, including vlogger Kirk Winkler, announced this the past few days. We’ve called the jail and we are able to confirm that she is charged with possession of a controlled substance (drugs) and her bond is set at $8,000. She is still in custody as of this morning.

It was not made clear by Meagan’s representatives last week that she was in jail when it was announced that she was “found safe.”

Meagan was a co-founder of “Deaf Women of Faith” and had many followers for her talent in singing ASL songs or giving inspiring vlogs. However her family said she has been “struggling with mental health issues for a while.”
