It is Friday, March 19. Here are today’s top stories.

The CDC has updated its guidelines for schools by recommending that students are kept at a distance of at least 3 feet instead of 6 feet. The students should still wear masks. NPR explained that this rule change will have a big impact because it would allow many more schools to open in person, full time.

You can see that some of them had a bat, a hammer, and that the young guy at the end sprayed some kind of substance on officers below him. The FBI has made over 300 arrests so far but are still looking for many more suspects.

There is a controversy over obvious differences in the setup of weight rooms at the Men and Women’s NCAA Tournaments. Oregon Ducks Women’s player Sedona Prince posted a video of the women’s weight room at the tournament in San Antonio, which was one very small stack of dumbbells in a very large, empty room. She then showed a clip of the men’s weight room at their tournament in Indianapolis, which showed another large room but with many weightlifting benches and squat stands. The NCAA responded by saying it would bring more workout equipment for women’s basketball players.
