CSD Riverside football players in Super Bowl coin toss

There will be more deaf people on the field for the Super Bowl this Sunday. The NFL invited four CSD Riverside football players to partake in the coin toss before kickoff. The students’ names are Trevin Adams, Christian Jimenez, Jory Valencia, and Enos Zornoza.

“The New York Times” said the four will be wearing their Cubs uniforms. The four are captains of their football team, which had an undefeated regular season and reached a state sectional championship match.

So this means we’ll see at least seven deaf people on the field: Sandra Mae Frank and the four CSDR players during the pregame portion, and Sean Forbes and Warren “Wawa” Snipe for the halftime show.

The NAD tweeted this picture of the legendary rapper Dr. Dre showing the ILY handshape with Sean and Wawa.
